We aim to organise the 19th St.Gallen International Breast Cancer Conference in accordance with the criteria of the Austrian Eco Label for Green Meetings.

Among others, the following measures have been taken by the organizer to make SGBCC 2025 more sustainable:

• The selected conference venue has an environmental certification
• The conference centre and all recommended hotels are accessible on foot or by public transport
• Provision of a free public transport ticket to all delegates
• Catering during the congress days is seasonal and regional
• Vegetarian or vegan alternatives are offered for all official catering functions
• Only reusable tableware will be used
• Partnerships primarily with hotels with eco-labels
• Only printing a small “pocket programme” instead of a full programme book to avoid wastage
• All printed matters will be on recycled or chlorine-free bleached paper
• Name badges will not have plastic covers
• No carpets will be included in the exhibition area
• Primarily using digital instead of printed signage
• Contracts with industry partners to ensure the industrial exhibition follows environmentqal guidelines
