Publication & Presentation
The submitted abstracts will be reviewed by an international jury of experts which will select the accepted works and also choose the best abstracts for the coveted SGBCC poster awards.
All accepted scientific contributions will be published in “The Breast” by Elsevier after the conference.
During the conference all accepted works will be showcased as e-posters as part of the e-poster exhibition. The winners of the poster awards will also be asked to hold a short oral presentation. Details on e-poster formatting and submission will be shared with the abstract notifications on Monday, 25 January 2027.
Abstract Notifications and Registration
The abstract notifications are sent out on Monday, 25 January 2027. Thereafter, abstract presenters have until Monday, 1 February 2027 to register. At this time, they will still be able to register with the early bird fee that officially expires on 15 December 2026. Abstracts for which the presenting author has not registered until Monday, 1 February 2027 are considered withdrawn. If the presenting author is not able to attend the conference it is their responsibility to inform the conference secretariat accordingly about a substitute presenter until 1 Feburary 2027.
